Mr. Kang specializes in domestic and cross-border dispute resolution with particular expertise in litigation and arbitration related to corporate, commercial contract, real estate, investment funds and financial matters. He has handled various disputes over complicated transaction and has been retrieving or avoiding losses over ten billion RMB by representing multinational enterprises, listed company, SOE, financial institutions. Mr. Kang has represented a large numbers of litigation cases at all levels of China’s courts and Chinese top arbitration institutions (including but not limited to SCIA, SHIAC, BAC). His cases primarily involve disputes in real estate financing, cross-border M&A and transaction, corporate equity and shareholders matters etc. He is especially skilled at handling cases in the Supreme Court of PRC and high courts of various provinces and has represented numbers of cases which were defeated in first or second instance to win a prevailing result in appeal or retrial procedures. Mr. Kang also has extensive experiences in FDI and cross-border M&A. He has handled series of cases involving investments of energy resources, infrastructure construction, and provided comprehensive solutions in joint development, M&A and project exit to fortune 500 clients. Mr. Kang graduated from the Law School of Sun-yet-sun University with a bachelor degree, and acquired a LLM degree of University of Texas at Austin. He joined T&C Law firm as a partner in 2021, prior to which, he worked in King&Wood Mallesons and Tiantong Law Firm. Mr. Kang’s working language is Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
