Daniel Zhao was admitted to practice in China in 2001. He has rich experience in providing professional legal services for multinational corporations for more than 20 years. He once served as China legal adviser in a famous foreign law firm. Typical cases include:
1.Providing legal advice on customs, contract law, labor law, tax law, etc. for an American company's Asia-Pacific business transfer from Taiwan to China.
2.Providing legal services of the transnational merger and acquisition for a US-invested company for business in China.
3.On behalf of a Shenzhen trading company, we have successfully negotiated and reached mutual agreement with its supplier, a German company who was in the process of bankruptcy proceedings, to refund all the payment and direct losses.
4.On behalf of a Chinese state-owned enterprise, we have successfully negotiated with an American energy giant and its foreign law firm, for establishing a joint venture in China. We have participated into a series of legal services, including joint venture contract and technology contract.
5.Providing legal advice for the business change and adjustment of a foreign-invested company, including properly handling the termination of a series of business contracts and avoided high liquidated damages compensation.
